LOTRO Shadows of Angmar Creature Feature: Giants |
Ó
From the height-deficient hobbits, we go to the other end of the spectrum, with the high-and-mighty giants of Tolkien folklore. Sparsely described and rarely mentioned in the fantasy universe of Middle-Earth, players of Codemasters' The Lord of the Rings: Shadows of Angmar can easily see these gargantuan individuals in their full, sky-scraping glory.
Easily towering over any other race in Middle-Earth, the giants are as tall as they are powerful - able to hurl heavy boulders and uproot ancient trees at a moment's notice. Not much is known about them, however, with the entire tribe hidden away deep in the Misty Mountains east of Rivendell - and they do not take kindly to visitors, as the tribe itself is locked in a battle that rages to this day.
With the giants also currently neutral in the War of The Ring, there's no doubt that the side that manages to lure these colossal behemoths to fight for their cause will have a tremendous advantage over the other. Which side they will ally themselves to, time can only tell.
Certainly good news that another facet of the fantastical universe that is Tolkien's brought to life in the Lord of the Rings: Shadows of Angmar. Updates as we get them!
