Lord of the Rings Online lore dosage: Bob and Nob |
Ó
Turbine Inc. has released a new update for the MMORPG The Lord of the Rings Online: Shadows of Angmar, focusing on the in-game characters Bob and Nob. These hobbits can be found at the Prancing Pony Inn in Bree.
Bob and Nob are actually the assistants of the perpetually absent-minded, but good-natured folk, Barliman Butterbur, who runs the inn. Due to this shortcoming, the tandem proves an integral part of the inn's day to day operations.
Nob is mostly known to customers as he is the one responsible for serving guests and running errands. Bob, on the other hand, also stays in the kitchen but spends most of his time tending Pony's stables.
Turbine Inc. added the following:
Bob and Nob, whose surnames remain unrecorded, first appeared in J.R.R. TolkienÂ’s The Lord of the Rings. In LotRO, Nob can be found wandering on an errand outside The Prancing Pony, while Bob is working in the kitchen inside.
And that's about it for today's lore dosage for Lord of the Rings Online. Keep checking back here at QJ.NET for similar updates.
