Jesper Kyd Makes Scores for The Chronicles of Spellborn |
Ó
The
makers of the upcoming MMORPG, The Chronicles of Spellborn, announced
that Jesper Kyd will make the musical score for the game. They
described the score as "a mix of
organic and ethereal musical landscapes embroidered with theatrical
orchestrations to provide an emotional connection for the player and
fully immerse them in the post-apocalyptic dark fantasy world of
Spellborn."Jesper Kyd is one of the leading composers in many video games. He's done music in Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and the Hitman series , etc. The team of Spellborn wanted to pick him because of not only his reputation but his versatility that is not very traditional. To quote Barry Hoffman who is Spellborn International NV's Marketing Manager, "Jesper Kyd is a composer with the rare combination of having a recognizable personal style, a good feel for what speaks to a mass audience and the ability to translate mood and emotion into music,"
So players can expect an action pack musical score on this upcoming MMORPG. The Chronicles of Spellborn is planned to be released this year.
