Avast me land lubbers! Talkin' 'bout pirates always gets me in the mood for singing some pirate shanties! Y'know, the kind where we be singin' of a yellow absorbent creature living in a pineapple under the sea and whatnot! But I shall pass with the shanties for now, bless me soul. We be doin' pirate jokes!
So there's this pirate ship with buckets full of red paint headed straight for this other pirate ship with buckets of blue paint. They eventually ram into each other into Davy Jones' Locker and guess what happened?! They got marooned! Arrgh! Nyar-har-har!
Ah! All this talk about colors reminds me about the point of this post: screenshots! Pirates of the Burning Sea is set for a June 2007 release and critics having been giving it rather good feedback (not to mention shanties as well). Flying Lab Software is setting sail on its course for adventure across the Caribbean during 1720. While I haven't been to the said island chain myself, I'm betting my last bottle of rum that it doesn't look as swashbuckling as they're seen in these screens of the game's environmental surroundings.
So lift up those fake eye-patches and pull down the sails! Here's a sight to see!
