To further differentiate Titan from WoW, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime touched slightly on the upcoming MMO's more social aspects while speaking in Las Vegas.

"We're not trying to make a WoW sequel," he said. This sentiment echoes previous statements from the Blizzard CEO.

According to Morhaime, the new MMO will have a heavy emphasis on social interaction. Players will get to play with and make new friends in the game as well as joining and playing in a guild.

Although Titan is being billed as a more social game than WoW, it still owes a lot to the MMO giant in terms of pedigree.

The name Titan conjures up something spacey. Whatever it ends up being about MMO fans will have another game to worry about getting addicted to.

I'm actually more interested in that priorities graphic on there on page 2 that listed WoW Mobile. If I was able to play a bit of WoW on my mobile platform that would rock.

Be a great distraction on the bus, lunch break etc.

But Titan does in fact bring to mind space, perhaps a more socially minded version of Starcraft as an MMO, forming squads etc.

All I'm going to say is "WoS"

Wow, Diablo .... what comes next.

I'm guessing it's World of Starcraft. If it is, that would be amazing! Titan seems like a good codename for WoS (as I'm sure it will be shortened to). It makes sense because they had the people who developed that SC2 custom map change it's name.
