Auran, developer of Fury, today posted a progress report on day one of the official launch of their PvP-based MMORPG. Auran CEO Tony Hilliam (aka Bossman) reported that the Auran development team kicked off the day with a celebration at 5 a.m., after spending a sleepless night making sure that Fury would be ready for launch.

Hilliam went on to say that Fury's main appeal lies in its focus on providing highly-competitive, even and (most importantly) fun matches for a broad cross section of the gaming populace. This is partly due to Fury's skill-based ranking systems, which ensure that at least 10% of the total Fury population is on the same skill level as the player. As the player population grows, so do the number of competitors at the player's skill level.

Finally, Hilliam mentioned that the Auran team is working on a full information system designed to let everyone in on either what they have planned for MMORPG Fury, as well as what they're currently working on. He then ended the report with a word of thanks to the players who have stuck with them since the beta testing days.

Auran is truly proud of the work they've done with Fury, and they're very optimistic about the MMORPG's future. With that kind of attitude, they may very well be on their way to achieving their ambition of having the top PvP video game in the world.
