Development of The Witcher's console ports may have been put on hold, but at least you can look forward to having some kind of Witcher fun on your iPhone and iPod Touch soon.
CD Projekt Red has announced plans to bring The Witcher: Versus to Apple devices. As the name suggests, it's not really based on the original Witcher but instead on the browser-based version. Those who buy it can also unlock some promo art for the recently-announced The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.
No price or date yet, but maybe CD Projekt's Spring 2010 conference can shed more light on those details. For now, enjoy this trailer:

We totally need more games like this. I love the graphics for this platform! I just hope that they add a concerted amount of DEPTH to the game. Perhaps a Single-Player Campaign and story mode with these type of battles would be legendary.
