Chair Entertainment's breath-taking visual masterpiece for iOS devices, Infinity Blade,  is getting some new contents next week, including more "booster packs" to "keep things fresh." Speaking with Joystiq, Chair's Donald Mustard revealed that the development for additional contents began immediately after the game's five-month development ended.

The first update will include five new weapons, five new shields, five new helmets, a new armor set that will raise the level cap to 45 and a new enemy called the "Marrow Fiend" (pictured above) that will be offered for free. Aside from the smaller packs, a more substantial content is also in the works.

"There will be new areas to go to, the story will be evolving a little more as you see what the God King is really up to, and we're going to let people go down into the dungeons," Donald Mustard confirmed. "For high-level players especially, you'll start to find some enemies that make the (current) enemies look like nothing."

Mustard also revealed that a future update will bring the addition of a multiplayer mode to the game. "We really do listen to the gamer feedback, reading through the various forums," he adds. "There are some things we agree with and somethings we don't, but the things we do agree with we're going to be putting into the game and making it better."
