Gameloft has announced the official release date for Starfront: Collision, an upcoming real-time strategy title "set in a credible futuristic universe which promises to be the deepest and most involving the App Store has ever seen."

The StarCraft-esque title features three different factions that wage war over some rare crystals found on planet Sinistral. And just like the real thing, these factions will come equipped with their own distinct set of tech trees and tactics.
