Since its release, Lima Sky's Doodle Jump has been receiving great review and feedback, even a few words of praise from celebs like Jimmy Fallon and Lady Gaga. Seeing as the 99-cent game has consistently been in the top iPhone game charts, those are praises well-deserved and well-earned. Since its April 6th, 2009 release in the App Store, the game has gone on and passed the 5 million downloads mark.
Brothers Igor and Marko Pusenjak, developers to the game, also believe that their game is the first one in the Store to hit that number. Although they did get that data from Apple, Apple doesn't release figures made by competing apps, so that particular claim isn't verified. Still, 5 million downloads in under 15 months is quite a feat.
