Capcom has released Dead Rising Mobile, a portable adaptation of the hit zombie slug fest for iOS devices. Play as Frank West and kill hordes of undead by any means necessary is still the theme of the game, but with a new control scheme specially designed for the iPhone and iPod touch.

The game will also feature a Facebook and Twitter integration, which will let you send out a distress call to your friends when you fall to the shambling hoard. "If your friends revive you, they will get extra bonus point. If they don't you can rise as a "NAMED ZOMBIE" in their game." Dead Rising Mobile is now available in the App Store for US$ 4.99. A little note though, the game will only work on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod touch 3rd and 4th Generation and better. iPhone 3G, iPod touch 1st and 2nd Generation and iPad are not compatible.
