NetEase's prayers have been answered. China's General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) has given the company the go signal to resume launch the World of Warcraft expansion Burning Crusade in the country.
Last week, NetEase announced the suspension of new WoW registrations pending a GAPP inquiry which left the future of 11 to 12 million Chinese WoW players uncertain. This development should help jumpstart Blizzard's WoW operations in the country.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King has also been submitted to the GAPP although a review for that particular expansion has yet to commence.
