Ubisoft has clarified some issues pertaining to the cause delay of the PC version of Splinter Cell: Conviction, and no, it's not DRM related, the company says. According to a Ubisoft representative:
The reason that has been given for the delay is that the extra time was need to polish and debug the game. The slip has not been linked to the DRM.
The company has been pounded lately with negative press over its recently established DRM scheme which require users to be connected to the internet at all times. Splinter Cell: Conviction will be released on April 13, 2010 on the Xbox 360 and will be availabe for the PC, two weeks later.
