Splinter Cell: Conviction has had a few delays under its belt. The original game (the one with the rougher-looking Sam Fisher) went through a couple, and the current incarnation was pushed back in mid-2009. It seems Sam still can't catch a break, however, as Ubisoft has announced that the game's been delayed again along with the RTS title, R.U.S.E.
Ubisoft had this to say via press release:
The postponed release dates for Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction and R.U.S.E, which were previously scheduled for the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2009-10, and will now be released in fiscal year 2010-11. Splinter Cell Conviction is now expected to hit the stores in April 2010.
Both games were previously scheduled for February 2010 releases -- Conviction on February 23 and R.U.S.E. on February.
