The Artisans of Diablo III explained

Artisans are non-playable characters that you can approach to buy, craft, or enhance weapons. Kinda like Griswold and Adria back in the day, but Diablo III will of course have more options than they did. Blizzard presented a walkthrough of them back at GamesCom, but game director Jay Wilson will explain it further.
