The 3rd Birthday nearing production stage, may get PSN release

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep may be skipping the digital storefront, but apparently Square Enix is still thinking about launching The 3rd Birthday on the PlayStation Store along with its retail release.

This was revealed by director Hajime Tabata, who also noted that they're still considering PSOne Classics releases for Parasite Eve and its sequel. If you'll remember, designer Tetsuya Nomura also mentioned a couple of weeks ago that he would like to see the latter happen before The 3rd Birthday launches.

What's sure though is that The 3rd Birthday is still on track for its Japanese release this winter, with the game now nearing the production stage. "The end is near," wrote Tabata. "From here, it's a real, severe fight within limited time. Right until the end, we'll be working bullishly on development, with no compromise."

I don't know why the hell they are spending so much time THINKING about considering the release of these games on the PSN instead of getting it done already. If SE so badly needs the money as i've read in a previous article on this site, they'd be smart to stop with all the fuckery thats messing with their fanbase and GET TO IT!
