Cheyenne Mountain Entertainment, the team behind the successful Stargate Worlds MMO, has announced that they are coming out with a new non-MMO third-person shooter project. It's not "Stargate", but it does carry the name to it: Stargate Resistance.
The official website reveals that Stargate Resistance will be an online class-based multiplayer-only team-based shooter. Here, the Stargate Command and Systems Lords factions will be embroiled in fiery battle in various gameplay modes. No other detail has been revealed about it, but we expect more to come quick as the game is poised for a Q1 2010 PC release.
