Blizzard has released the first patch for it's long awaited sci-fi RTS sequel, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. The latest update, now available for download via the game's auto updater, fixes "a few technical issues and makes some server-side optimizations."

Patch notes:

Bug Fixes
- Campaign saves have been optimized.
- Fixed an issue with sound not playing on some 7.1 systems.
