The countdown is on, ladies and gentlemen. StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty is on its way to launch in less than a week. A new trailer has been released by Blizzard earlier, and what we have now are the launch details.
There will reportedly be a special Midnight Launch to happen across Europe, such as in London, Berlin, Paris, Stockholm and Moscow. Stateside, the Fountain Valley, CA branch of Fry's Electronics will be having their own midnight launch party as well. They'll even have members of the dev team from Blizzard drop by and sign copies of the games. Fun games and events will also be had, so you best line up early if you want to get a good spot.
Meanwhile, other retailers across the US such as Best Buy, GameStop and Wal-Mart, will be hosting regular events to gear up for the launch of StarCraft 2.
StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty launches July 27, 2010.
