If you still haven't gotten a copy of Stardock Entertainment and Ironclad Games' Sins of a Solar Empire but are planning to, you might as well go with the Trinity pack which bundles the original game with its two expansions, Entrenchment and Diplomacy. It's now available on Stardock's Impulse digital download service.

Originally released a year ago, the Trinity pack has now been updated to version 1.2. One thing to note, however, is that version 1.2 is still in beta form. This was done to "assist Stardock in fine-tuning the updates as they include changes to the core gameplay mechanics and engine of the title."

Among the changes included in the version 1.2 update are a new and improved Pirate system, updated balancing of the diplomatic system, and fixes to the gameplay balance for the TEC, Advent and Vasari based on player feedback. The update also introduces improved memory handling and texture use as well as increased performance and AI tweaks to enhance computer player behavior.
