Rockstar Games has said precious little about Team Bondi's L.A. Noire since it was formally unveiled earlier this year. Now it seems we'll have to wait even longer until we learn more about it, let alone play it.

During a recent statement to investors, Pacific Crest Securites' Evan Wilson revealed that according to retail sources, the game will be missing the "quarter ending October 31" release window Rockstar set back in June.

"We have confirmed the delay of L.A. Noire from fiscal Q4 (Oct.) well into [fiscal] 2011 [November 1, 2010 to October 31, 2011]," Wilson wrote. "As far as we can tell, Take-Two has not shown the game to retailers."

The same investors note also contained criticisms of Rockstar's current management, which according to Wilson has already missed 20 of the major release dates it set since 2007. L.A. Noire alone accounts for three of those.

"The delays have reinforced the low confidence we have in current management," Wilson wrote. "We continue to have low confidence that management has any idea about when its games will actually be released and believe the confidence that it displays to investors is misplaced."

Ouch.

Rockstar over release dates? Are you serious, have they seen their games? They're great and sell millions. What's the problem. I even liked Smuggler's Run. I'm not sure they have made a bad game ever. State of emergency 2 was the closest thing to a bad game they have made. And it wasn't that bad, it was pretty fun. As an invester just shut-up and watch the money roll in when the next GTA comes out.

I bet is because RDD is still fresh ont eh shelves, and better to keep the bread selling, instead of killing it with a release date for the next batch..
