Portal gets downloaded "millions" of times on Steam for Mac

Now that Steam's been officially out on Mac, it's no surprise that a lot of Mac gamers are doing some major catch-up. Particularly, "millions" of fans went on a downloading frenzy for Portal, at least so says Valve.

Sending out word via official press release today, Valve said, "Yesterday, millions of new recruits poured into the Aperture Science Enrichment Center for Portal testing. If they are ever found, we are sure they would want you to know that the wheels of science turn ever onward."

They've also sent out this droning but hypnotic recruitment video for Aperture Science.
