One thing that doesn't seem to have been finalized yet is whether or not Homefront will be getting mod tools. What's certain is that it won't ship with them.
With the dev team focusing on finishing and polishing Homefront for release, THQ believe that "building those tools for Community use would take away resources that are needed on the final game." If the support is there, however, they always have the option of releasing community tools post-launch.
Another thing that THQ put the kibosh on is a PC demo. Again, since Kaos and Digital Extremes are still finishing up the game, THQ think it would "detract efforts from the main game." They are instead relying on the feedback gathered fron Homefront's lengthy private beta.
Homefront will hit PCs in North America on March 8, 2011. The game's European release has been set for March 11, 2011.

Sadly march is a big time for games... Dragon Age 2, Shogun 2 and now this - and with Dragon Age 2 and this being released on the same day I guess I'll have a tough decision as to what to play first.
