Homefront may be coming to multiple gaming platforms, but PC gamers will get a few features not found in any other versions of the game. Homefront publisher THQ have let loose more details regarding the Digital Extremes-developer PC version of the Kaos Studios FPS.

As confirmed on the game's official website, Homefront will be a Steamworks-equipped title. That means THQ are going with Valve Anti-Cheat to protect gamers against cheaters. The game's DRM is also Steamorks-based and will require users to log in to their Steam client during installation.

PC gamers will be also able to enjoy it in 3D thanks to Nvidia 3D Vision support. Those who rock SLi/Crossfire systems will also be able to configure those for a bit of a performance boost. Eyefinity won't be supported at launch but if there's a demand THQ are open to adding it in.

I personally have it pre-ordered, been keeping track of this game since it was announced and from the dev videos it seems a worthwhile risk.

Sadly march is a big time for games... Dragon Age 2, Shogun 2 and now this - and with Dragon Age 2 and this being released on the same day I guess I'll have a tough decision as to what to play first.
