EA has revealed that gamers won't be ducking and weaving using the new motion control thingamabobs in Fight Night Champion. They've decided not to include Move and Kinect support entirely.

"The motion-based control systems, since they are very new and aren't on the market yet... Fight Night Champion has not been developed and is not currently being developed to utilise those," said gameplay producer .

Another reason for the lack of motion control support is that EA thinks the whole Champion experience may be too tiring for most gamers. Said Hayes, "It's a little bit too twitch-based, not to mention the fact that standing on your feet for three minutes and throwing punches is something that, believe it or not, might be beyond the fitness level of most gamers!"

Has anyone played Mo-cap Boxing? It was a lot like work. It was fun, but after the 3rd round, it got pretty hard. Mo-cap Policeman was even worse. You had to duck and dodge, after 20 min I felt like I just ran a couple of miles.

so its okay for some developer to assume that gamers are all fat and not fit or don't exercise.....im fit and i exercise i could use this game to take out agression if it had move support kinda like punch out on the wii... why does EA continue to piss gamers off two thumbs down!!

Typical EA, produce a game that is REALLY suitable for motion controls and then decide not to bother with them.

Next we will find out something silly like FIFA WILL support them, where its totally innapropriate.
