A few months from now, we'll finally get to see Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the last movie in Michal Bay's live-action Transformers trilogy, in theaters all over the world.
As was the case with the previous two movies, the third Transformers movie will also have a licensed game. Activision-owned studio High Moon has been tapped to develop the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, and recently they've shared a few details regarding their upcoming multiplatform project.
First of all, the official Transformers: Dark of the Moon game won't be a tie-in in the sense that it follows the movie's plot step by step. Instead, High Moon's new game will act as a prequel and will take players to locations like Siberia and Detroit.
Since the game isn't tied down by the movie's plot, High Moon believes that Transformers: Dark of the Moon will be better received compared to the two previous Transformers movie tie-in games.
