As expected, a number of former Infinity Ward employees who recently resigned in their respected position has now teamed up with their former bosses, Vince Zampella and Jason West, over at the newly formed Respawn Entertainment.

The seven castaways include former IW lead designer Todd Alderman, former lead animator Mark Grisby, lead environmental artist Chris Cherubini, lead animator John Paul Messerly, former Infinity Ward software engineer Rayme C. Vinson, programmer Jon Shiring and former lead designer Mackey McCandlish has now reportedly joined Respawn Entertainment under the same development roles.

The new startup studio has not yet announced any project, but in a recent interview with ex-studio head Jason West following the Respawn Entertainment announcement, the dev said:

"It's all about focusing and making sure our premiere title is huge and something that the fans and the gaming community really are gonna love, that's what we're all about right now."

Well, this may be just me, but it's probably going to be a FPS. Considering COD4 is relative better than MW2 in terms of quality, MW2 days just got shorter. Not a bad way to dance on Activision's metaphoric grave by killing their top seller.

EA went through more than it's share of problems with developers and came out better and more respectfull to them i think even though they are smaller now, and i bet they gonna see this as an opportunity to build the ranks and poach back the developers that jumped ship to Activision.
