Eidos Montreal has officially taken the wraps off of Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

The third entry in the Deus Ex franchise will be a single-player only prequel. The studio says they've taken a lot of cues from the first Deus Ex game's marriage of FPS and RPG so players can expect a similar experience in Human Revolution.

"The goal is to deliver the perfect mix of both genres, giving players the option of choosing to play the game depending on their preferred play style," said director Jean-Francois Dugas in an interview with IGN.

"The game is built around a multi-path, multi-solution approach so you often have more than one way to pass an obstacle, and within that you have tonnes of options for character and weapon customization."

More details regarding Deus Ex: Human Revolution will reportedly be revealed at E3. In the meantime, check out the teaser trailer below.

It's still weird to see the Square-Enix logo for a FPS....

The trailer looks so wicked XD The first one was awesome too.

I heard the 2nd one was somewhat crap. If anyone finished it, does it at least give a good ending or multiple endings such as the 1st one?

If anyone wants to reminisce about the first one, here's a youtube channel that has a quick, non-lethal walkthrough that has the cut scenes and everything :D
