Crysis 2 producer: PC to consoles isn't necessarily dumbing the game down |

On the development of the game by Crytek UK, Carmillo divulged that the team really enjoyed working with the Crysis engine.
"They had some really strong internal tools that they'd been working on as well, from the time when they were still independent, and immediately. CryEngine allowed them to learn quickly, and start right away contributing to Crysis 2 and deevloping the multiplayer - but then some of the really strong internal tools they had, they folded into the engine as well."
As for the so-called dumbing down of PC games brought over to consoles, he explains that he's been caught in a situation before and accpording to him, he found that it actually allows them to increase focus on the decisions as to the quality of the game. He expounds:

"The feature set is more reined-in, and things are more polished than on PC. Take a flight simulator, for example. On PC, buttons are added just because you can, and for a feature maybe one guy in a thousand will ever use during the course of the game.
But you spend time developing it, de-bugging it... that was time that you could have put into another feature, like just your targeting system, you know? When you switch over to multi-platform, you think broader, you start looking at your decisions and going 'Is this really what our game is about?' You start weighing every decision against what is going to make the best experience for the gamer. There's a lot of speculation that we are losing something going multi-platform, but we feel like, "No we're not, and actually we've added to it, and it's better."

FIFA 10 VS FIFA 11
COD 4 VS COD MW2
i think Multi platform devloping ruin the game experience as DEvs must focus on multi console on a time and they have to make things compatible with all even losing quality , (COD MW2 no lean control due to consol port) , and as we know any console have it own GPU so Devs Must take care of it .
in result the quality is limited by one of the muli release console power i guess the 360 .
( wy buy 800$ GFX cards and 800$ MOB and many more so why we have to play a console game on it )
sory for my eng guys :) .

If you mean FIFA 11 NG then that's another story.
FIFA with NG is only for consoles, don't know why but it's where you'll get the best football (retards call it "soccer") experience while the other/PC versions are inferior.
Each system has its ups and downs.
Btw, you could use a dictionary, idiot. You've been saying sorry for the couple hundred times now.
