Ó

caw2There are three important things when picking a post to put up a home: location, location, location. With this new tool for The Sims 3, you won't have to worry about that. EA has now released the Create a World Tool (a beta) on the game's official site, so registered players of The Sims 3 can now terraform and terra-pimp to their imagination's content.

  • Design entire worlds for your Sims, from choosing terrain patterns and roads to placing lots, vegetation and neighborhood accents like water towers and lighthouses.
  • Start with a blank canvas, or modify the terrains that formed the basis of Sunset Valley or Riverview.
  • For advanced designers, bring your creativity to life by creating and importing designs from Photoshop and other graphics programs.
  • Expand your landscape features and building options with The Sims 3 Create a World Tool – BETA with The Sims 3 World Adventures expansion pack, or items from The Sims 3 Store.
  • Share your worlds through The Sims 3 Exchange.

Head over to The Sims 3 official site and try it out now.

Was this something never included to begin with? Could you not create a city yourself? I wouldn't know, since I've never really played, but this seems like something that would have been a given.
