Last time we heard, Blizzard was seriously looking into bringing Diablo III to consoles. Not much has been heard about it since then -- until now, that is.

Apparently, Blizzards "investigation" into the matter is still ongoing. This was disclosed by CEO Mike Morhaime himself, at the DICE event yesterday.

Said Morhaime, "It's something that we're actually doing an investigation into to see if that could make sense."

I personally dont think its a good idea to put a game that is so heavily reliant on the mouse - as it is a point and click type of game - and port it to a system where you need to use a controller. I was a big diablo 2 player, so granted i have a huge bias here, but i love the mouse controls. I dont think it will be the same moving with a joystick as it will moving by mouse click.

id buy it, and it be great if the xbox and pc players can interact with each other weather their on pc or xbox

i want it to consoles, but i want a keboard and mouse support. If they transfer the game on consoles without this support and the online support between all the platforms. PC, XBOX 360, PS3.
