Battle.Net getting Facebook support |

Love it or hate it, it's getting really hard to argue that Facebook has become an almost omnipresent entity these days. The social networking site is even getting supported by Blizzard's Battle.Net online service.
Facebook's integration into Battle.Net will allow users to add fellow players who also have linked Facebook accounts. Testing is set to begin "in the near future" using the current beta version of StarCraft II. Full implementation will commence once the game officially launches on July 27.
“We’re pleased to be working with Facebook to integrate their platform with Battle.net to enhance the social-entertainment experience for our players,” said Blizzard COO Sam Lyons. “This new functionality will make it easier than ever to connect with friends on Battle.net and play StarCraft II and future Blizzard Entertainment games together.”

To bad. This is what Blizzard (Blizzard always types memos in the third person) says you will get. Now go back to playing the demo, and be glad Blizzard will allow you to purchase the game. Also get ready to see Blizzard's next breakout game, World of Starcraft*. Now you to can spend money on a game (plus several future expansions packs) and painfully high monthly fees.
