Battlefield Heroes gets "Vengeance" update, adds jetpacks

Battlefield fans rejoice! DICE and EA has released a new patch for Battlefield Heroes. Dubbed as "V2 Vengeance", the latest update of the free-to-play web-based multiplayer shooter includes a brand new game mode, a new "Midnight Mayhem" map, and the return of fan-favorite jet packs.

 

 

 

Patch notes:

  • Features
    • Added a new map, Midnight Mayhem.
    • Added a new game mode, V2 Vengeance.
    • Added a new widget, Rocket Fuel.
    • NOTE: Widget only functions in conjunction with an equipped rocketpack
  • Fixes
    • Fixed a UI bug with bookmarking servers in-game.

I can't think of this game any other way... it's a TF2 rip-off. When trying to compare the two of them, I think the result is clear. I prefer team-based combat to all players sniping as commandos...
