Activision: Blizzard working on Diablo "sequels"

Blizzard is apparently "currently developing" not only Diablo 3 but other games in the franchise as well. That's what an SEC filing from Activision says, anyway. Says the filing:

Blizzard is currently developing new games, including a new expansion pack to the 'World of Warcraft' franchise, 'Cataclysm,' 'StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty,' which will be released with the new and improved Battle.net, and sequels to the 'Diablo' franchise.

While these may just be expansions for Diablo 3, it's worth noting that the Diablo games are referred to as "sequels" and WoW: Cataclysm is outright called an expansion.

You only have to look to their books to see what's planned (for avid fans), that's the basis of the original article it seems (http://www.incgamers.com/News/21229/blizzard-plans-more-diablo-games-beyond-diablo-iii). The lore is way beyond me. You can see in that all the book/comic plotlines that kinda give the game away, not just really to sequels but in what direction they may take or which characters might appear.
