Your friendly, sword-wielding, Wiimote-controlled robot

This could potentially be a CSI's worst nightmare. It's a deadly killer with no fingerprints who could be controlled by anyone... with a Wiimote. Forget remote-controlled cars that can kill. This is a Wiimote-controlled robotic arm that can slice... tennis balls with a bad forehand smash, that is.

Two guys with a lot of brains and a need for something relaxing to do managed to create a script that would allow them to control a robotic hand by following the motions of the Wiimote. They were able to rework GlovePIE into a basic script that followed their motions, though with a slight delay. Heck, they even managed to get it to hold and wield a sword and a tennis racket, and we're both impressed by the robot and scared of the fact that the robot might be able to beat us in a game of Tennis.

That being said, it's definitely worth checking out their page, just for the sheer coolness of making this whole thing happen. Until someone gets hurt, maimed, or assassinated by this piece of techNINjology.
