View XBox Games on Your LCD Monitor |

Let's face it - 360 games are great, but they look sucky on standard TVs - and HDTVs are pricey. What's a XBox gamer to do?Fortunately, the new LCD PC monitors are fairly cheap, and getting cheaper all the time. A 20" PC monitor can now be gotten for around $400 - about half that of a low-end HDTV. That's the good news.
The downsides: size, for one. 20-25" is not big enough to view comfortably from the sofa. Another problem lies in the fact that PC monitors have only VGA or DVI inputs, and lack on-board TV tuners and integrated audio. VGA adapters are available for the 360, but if you want your computer hooked up at the same time, you'll need a device enabling you to switch from one to the other.
Still, even with these problems, the savings are considerable. VGA wires for the XBox360 are available from MadKatz and Microsoft, and offer resolutions ranging from 640x480 on up to 1360x768.

So if you are worried about not having an amp or optic sound there is at least the adaptor included with the package so you can hook it up to your computer speakers.
