These things really look like candy.. or soap..

Wanna hear some scary stuff? Whether or not you do, we're still gonna go ahead and tell you: Your keyboard and mouse can harbor more bacteria than your bathroom's toilet seat.

Now that we're done with the massive groan and the heartfelt "Ewww", we have here Elecom's new product line, the M-ABUR antibacterial mouse. When we say antibacterial, we don't necessarily mean that this mouse will disinfect your hand thoroughly for you. You'll still have to go to the bathroom and wash your hands to keep 'em clean. What the mouse does is keep itself bacteria-free, so when you're all done washing up and getting ready to use your PC, the danger of getting your hands covered in icky bacteria will be minimized.

Plus, ain't these babies looking pretty cool? Elecom really has a penchant for beautiful designs. We really like the designs, especially the colors. Quite a change from the usually boring antibacterial product designs we've seen. Here's hoping that Elecom releases a matching antibacterial keyboard in the future.

The M-ABUR antibacterial mouse retails in Japan for ¥3,780.

The Mythbusters team had a study on how clean a toilet seat is, and you'll be surprised. It's cleaner than your average kitchen floor. Possibly one of the cleanest part of your house.

Why? Probably because people clean it more often than other areas of the house. Putting your bum on a specific "part" of your abode frequently must be a good motivation to clean it often hehe
