The Sony Mylo

The Sony Mylo, Sony's personal communicator, looks really nice at Sony's official site, but we have to admit that studio-treatment product pictures can't compare to actually seeing it out of the box and in your hands. We've posted a video of the Sony Mylo in action before, so here's a little something extra for your taste buds - shots of the Sony Mylo straight out of the box.

Here's the thing out of the box. Upon observation you can see some pictorial feature highlights, support for Google Talk, Yahoo IM, and Skype (with voice). It also features support for common media formats like WMA and ATRAC.

Shots featuring the brightness of the screen, the interface, and the fancy glowing raver lights:

Finally, below are images of the Mylo and its components laid out as well as comparison pictures of it beside some other travel phones. There's a pic of its USB cable, AC adapter, slip case, battery, and ear buds. The Mylo can charge via USB and enter mass storage mode. There's also a microphone that's useful for Skype, since the Mylo can also be used as a Skype WiFi handset.
