NVIDIA introduces the GeForce 9600 GT, boasts DX10 bang for the buck feats |

NVIDIA's proudly announced that the GeForce 9600 GT, the 9 series successor of the 8600 GTS, will be touted as the first product of the long awaited 9 series. The video graphics card boasts full DirectX 10 support with a performance gain of almost double than its earlier cousin on some games and will come as the 9 series' first bang for the buck card.
The 9600 GT touts a tag team of 64-bit streaming shading processors clocking in at 1625 MHz and a G94-spec core clock of 650 MHz. It comes supported by a 256-bit memory interface running at 900 MHz base clock (1800 MHz) for the provided 512 MB of DDR3 memory. And if you're planning to buy two for a change, the 9600 GT's PCIe version 2.0 support will ensure bleeding edge SLI performance on your SLI-enabled, PCIe version 2.0 board.
NVIDIA's announcement over press wire hints that the card will be available at a price equal to or lower than EUR 250 (US$ 370.35). Further investigation of available models in the market shows that some are already offered at prices lower than US$ 200. In the UK, overclocked editions popped up at US$ 300 per piece - inclusive of tax.

So its great but i think i m still not gonna get it
After reading reviews of this card, it ranks right with the 8800 256mb. Still an improvement for MidRange cards.
Cheap, yes, Improvement from 8000's, not much.
Anticipation for 9800gt, Much Greater.
