MIT-developed software turning sketches into interactive systems

We learned the other day that the video game industry may be on the brink of another form of advancement in terms of producing video games. One of Sony's senior researcher has revealed plans to have games based on user-drawn content.

While the technology is not at all new (it has already been used with Nintendo DS game Drawn to Life), maximizing its full potentials is where the trick lies. And it seems that Sony is not at all alone in pursuing this path.

The video clip below shows an MIT engineer hailing from Fullerton, California who has developed a software which converts sketches into interactive mechanical systems.
