TN Games 3rd Space Vest - Image 1Those who want to add another level of realism in their gaming sessions (to some extent, like the simulated motions with the Wiimote) may want to look into TN Game's 3rd Space Vest, a gaming accessory for the PC that lets you feel the blows in-game to further enhance gaming experience. The accessory will cost avid gamers a hefty sum of US$ 189.

The 3rd Space Vest also lets gamers feel the G-force while flying through the virtual skies in flight-sim games. A high-tech air compression system is used to deliver the sensation of getting hit through eight contact points that deliver 10 pounds of force (ouch).

Only five PC game titles support the 3rd Space Vest for the meantime, including Call of Duty by Activision for the PC, as well as Incursion by TN Games. Doom 3 by id Software and Quake 3 and 4 will also work with the 3rd Space Vest.

TN Games doesn't plan to stop with the vest. Mark Ombrellaro, founder and president of TN Games said:

What weÂ’re going with is basically an entire suit. Obviously, the vest is a start and then at CES we will be showing the arms, legs and the helmet that will go with it.

We wonder how gamers will look like fully armed in their living room or bedroom, shooting at virtual baddies in their screen. But if it floats their boat, why not?
