Soon to be married Jainy, was having a hard time finding the perfect gift to her fiance, when she chanced upon a Mario quilt she saw at Craftsters. Enlisting the help of her friends she decided to make her own version.  Using Mario's beloved but sometimes left out in the cold, 8-bit brother - Luigi. This Luigi inspired quilt took four people 20 hours to finish. Every "pixel" is 2.5 inches, making the quilt roughly fit for a queen size bed.  Mama Mia!

Cool, but that's actually Mario's "16-bit brother."

» My Mother...

My mother once did a cross-stitch for me when i was very young. It was Mario. It probably took her a LONG time to do that, as well. I must say, I never truly appreciated it though.

A quilt... I'd have appreciated a quilt.

Ah well. I've still got it in a box somewhere. Maybe I'll hang it back up.

Wow amazes me that people who make Mario quilts can find husbands.

Very impressive Jainy.
