Gears of War collectibles going to production soon |
Ó
Hearing a noise, Marcus Fenix trains his gun on the shadows, searching for the slightest movement when out of the darkness comes... the family dog?Well that may not be what happened, but you'd certainly watch out that your pooch isn't looking for a chew toy when you buy a Marcus Fenix collectible. That's right, the National Entertainment Collectibles Association, Inc. has signed on with Epic Games to produce "a full line of collectible action figures, busts, statues, dioramas and prop replicas from the Gears of War video game."
Joel Weinshanker, President and COO of NECA, has this to say about the franchise:
Only once in a while does a property come along that is so rich in content, with amazing character designs and groundbreaking achievements in art, music, and story. While having to turn down most properties made available to us, this was an offer we could not refuse. We are thankful that we are able to work with the folks at Epic to bring these characters out of the box and into fans hands.
Just recently the award winning soundtrack of Gears of War has also been released by Sumthing Else Music Works. Now you can make Fenix fight the dog with the soundtrack.
