Dreamcade Vision 120 - Image 1An arcade system with a 120-inch screen and more than 145 pre-installed games? Sounds like a hardcore arcade fan's dream. Well, if you have the money to burn, you can also get this monstrosity and drop it in the middle of your gaming room thanks to Dream Arcades.

The Dreamcade Vision 120 comes complete and ready to play with more than 145 classic arcade games, including titles from Atari, Midway, Namco, Digital Leisure, and Capcom as well more than 7,000 classic console games. The system also supports Nintendo's Wii console and even includes a wireless sensor bar.

It also features a high-powered projector bright enough for daytime use and a 120-inch portable projection screen. Modern PC games can also be played on this baby using authentic arcade controls. Speaking of controls, these include a lighted trackball, a spinner and a full arcade control panel with additional side buttons. You can also plug in your Wii, Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 into the Dreamcade Vision 120's component and HDMI video inputs.

Sounds great, right? The bad news is the price: US$ 3,999. You'll also need to have enough room for it. Of course, if you have the money and the place to put it in, it's worth checking out. It could also save you the cost of a gym membership from all the exercise you'll get moving it around before and after you use it.

WTF!?!?!?!?!

I like the fake superimposed Christmas tree!

Or....

....you could just build your own for a few hundred dollars and save the headache of spending a 1000% increase. :P

Err

Without the project and screen of course, but you can always put a TV in there instead and save the hassle of always trying to find an empty wall. Chuck your game consoles and all the homebrew/emulation you want on the computer's (the one powering the arcade) hard drive, and you're good to go.

WTF!?!?!?!?!

@Karuto, This is for the other 90 million people that wouldn't know how to do that :) I can think of 6 people off the top of my head where money is no issue and they would buy that just to have something "that works" by Christmas.

LOL!

That's awesome. Seriously, that's some 'I can save you some money'-quality work there. Anyways, my only other beef (besides the price) is that this setup looks too low to the ground. The two dudes in the first picture look like they're going to cripple themselves if they play too long standing up.

Give me that booth.

I would also like to append a keyboard and mouse to that mini-desk and omit the screen.
