No kidding. This little product from Japanese company Century attaches itself to a Wii easily, and allows Wii gamers to play via gadget with a 7-inch diagonally-wide LCD screen and a mini sensor bar. Talk about seriously trippy Wii mobile gaming. If Ben Hecks' Wii-fied laptop was any serious effort, this little gadget will only burn you 120 Washingtons or JPÂ¥ 14,800 (that's US$ 120).

According to Watch Impress Japan, the little gadget is for private gameplay, probably suggesting that people should buy this product if they don't want anyone to see what they're playing. How it works is easy: slap in the Wii right at the Wii holding platform at the leg of the unit, plug in the unit and voila! The unit also comes with a power converter box that plugs a single power cord to an outlet, and allows both the Wii and the unit to be powered through the single connection.

And get this: the product can even attach to your car's lighter port, allowing it to be used inside vehicles for gaming. The unit is geared for a release on June 25 in Japan, although no word has been made on whether the English contingents of Century will also distribute a version of the unit in the Western hemisphere.

Holy...

This looks so lame and useless...such a small screen would make it difficult to play. And in the car? I don't think I have enough room in there to play an old Playstation game, let alone an arm-swinging Wii game. Am I gonna get one of these? Probably, lame as it may be it'd be nifty to have, just to add on. I love add-ons.

physics issues

the constant acceleration and deceleration of the car would screw up the wiimote's motion sensors lol
