Bluetooth set for speed upgrades

The Bluetooth wireless standard used in cell phones and other small electronic devices will take a huge leap in speed by developing a new radio technology known as ultra-wideband or UWB. Currently, Bluetooth only works with low speed devices such as headphones and wireless keyboards, but with UWB Bluetooth will expand its services to include high-definition video and files for digital music players. Ultra-wideband refers to radio communications techniques based on transmitting very short duration pulses to very large values. It allows data to be delivered in excess of of 100 Mbits while using a small amount of power and interfering with other existing communications. UWB offers great advantages for short-range wireless multimedia networking. The rawness of the high speed will quickly keep your music and movies in sync on one device.
