Nintendo has just had a little press briefing showing off Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Here's the currently know information. Playable characters include Pit, Wario, Meta Knight, and Solid Snake of Metal Gear.


Yes. SOLID SNAKE. Wow. Stay tuned for updates. I am almost pissing my pants here ;) Meta Knight! Hell yeah. It will not be available at launch. It'll be released in 2007. It will be online. It will not use the new controller, instead it's either using the shell or GCN controller. This news about the controller has definitely made my day. I can't wait to play it. It looks like Nintendo knows there's a hardcore following with its series.

And I was worried that making Kid Ikarus for Wii would look stupid, but Pit looks REALLY cool on SSBB. And they got the TP Link on here!



Did you guys see those specials? I think I fainted when Link did that illusion stab combo.

holy *****. this is what i want to see in a sequel! the thing that made me faint wasn't just the amazing graphics, its the fact they are actually gonna stick to the amazing control scheme that was once SSBM's. THANK YOU NINTENDO!!!!!!

I think using the classic control theme was genius. People can just pic it up and go. It would have been too hard doing a fighter like SSBB on the Wii pointer controller.



And I'll still say that Shadow, Kalas and Viewtiful Joe should be some of the third party characters, ESPECIALLY Viewtiful Joe. I can't think of a more pefect candidate for SSBB.

This game is going to be frickin' awesome! Meta Knight, Pit

(I'm gonna be honest, those leather ankle cuffs look bad on him but he's still awesome), Zero Suit Samus (wow), Wario, and SNAKE!? all hail thee. I've heard they might even consider adding Sonic to the list. Best of luck!!
