Sony's "Play Beyond" ad campaign is in full effect as the days wind down for the much anticipated Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). Huge Sony ads reveal stunning visuals and imagery that hold cryptic messages that only Sony can decode. And Sony might just do that when it holds its press conference on Monday.

Team Kotaku was able to get around the convention area and snapped shots of the giant ads. We're posting them here for your viewing pleasure.

I absolutely can't wait for Sony's conference! The PS3 and Wii will no doubt be the center focus at this years E3... but something tells me Sony has something big planned... can't wait!!!!

To be fair, if you play a game on a TV it is 2D, so 4D gaming is out of the question.

Let's look at what we have here. What is clearly a rock, paper, iron-fist game is in the first poster. The second one shows an isolated area of beauty. The third one shows a huge swing. And the last one shows those things that I was never able to do as a kid (I could do monkey bars but not those damn rings)

i would assume they are for the most part eye candy. generally normal everyday things we do as people .. supersized and blasted into virtual worlds.. for the most part i assume they want to get across the point of the graphics being realistic and submersive.

First is probably dealing with Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Second could be what #5 said or even a plataeu(or however you spell it).

Third for some reason looks like the St. Louis Arch with a swing.

Fourth is those stupid monkey bars over a pit of lava.

It could deal with possible mini-games online, Rock, Paper, Scissors, Mountain/Rock Climbing, something with a playground, and another hint of a playground. Not sure, just throwing it out there.
