NBA 2007 game physics trailer for PS3 |
Ó
A video has been released which shows the pre-finalisation quality of the game, NBA '07, the next in line of the officially licensed software. Once watching the video, you can see just how much work has gone into this. The facial expressions of the players are absolutely great, and the 'foot planting', as described by our man at E3, is truly a great realism feature. The only thing I cant really say I'm as pleased about is the physics of the ball, but hopefully a bit more detail will be added. Lets hope it furthers on the released details of the PSP version.Download: [NBA '07 Trailer]

That is simply mind-blowing. I hope the 360 adopts that technology, because it's something every game needs. And can anyone confirm with facts if it's possible for the 360 to do that? I'm curious, and i hope it can. Makes for better, more realistic games.
Do people who play sports games actually care about physics? I understand its to make it seem more realistic, but I doubt many of them will notice it at all. They're more obsessed with playing as their favourite sport stars. Being honest only really geeks (like myself) care about nice physics in games.
They do care. I mean, why would you want to play Randy Mose only as a black dot on the screen that can only move up and down? It's all about the physics and the graphics.
i'm a big sports fan, big sports game fan. and i feel nba live has fallen off recently... or maybe it's just the fact that the 2k series has much more improved gameplay, more realistic. but with the new physics with the foot planting and stuff i think it's a good start for EA. hope the game play improves, can't wait to see what else is new for nba live 07.
i think the title got mixed up here... it's nba live 2007 not nba 2007... unless something happened that i don't know about
it's pretty but they really have to sort out the clothes floating above the players thing, it's disturbing.
