Yet another video from the fresh bounty of videogame eye candy that is E3, and this time it's about the latest entry in the legendary series about shooting up zombies, Capcom's Resident Evil 5 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We get you the skinny on what's to expect come the game's still unannounced release.

In the video, we see our hero stuck in another frighteningly-realistic town that seems to be set somewhere in war-torn Africa. It's to note that the atmosphere is strikingly similar to Resident Evil 4, where the inhabitants (usually the zombies you'll be facing off against) have very distinct nationalities. The graphics are looking sharp, with the textures and facial features amazingly detailed. No actual confirmation if the footage we're seeing is actual gameplay or CGI, though, but suffice to say this could be the prettiest Resident Evil we've ever seen.

Enough spoilers from us, enjoy the video!

Awesome!

Looks unbelievable. I hope there's some new gameplay innovation, and it doesn't end up being just a prettier RE4. A higher quality, downloadable video is availabe at gametrailers.com I'm kind of worried that at the end of the video, the 360 logo appears, and no PS3 logo. Another game Sony has lost?
